I can’t tell if the fights this episode were animated even more poorly than the rest of this season or if I am just more aware of it at this point. Also, this game is another in the list of death games that are overly complicated and contrived, I have mostly tuned out the game at this point.
Seeing the flashback at the beginning of this episode really made me miss the old team’s dynamic. Endorsi is really into Bam it seems, and I am all for it.
As I said in the Weekly post, I feel that there are too many characters at this point. We have the characters from the current S2, we have the old team from S1 returning, Rachel running off with FUG(?), and even Rak the lizard guy is running around somewhere looking for his turtles.
The Workshop Battle is a looooong story arc, at 100 chapters, so I hope the story gets some focus soon.
And you just made me realize that I forgot about Rak! How could I forget about him? He wandered off on some kind of training vision quest before as well before passing the test in the first season. So, hopefully he comes back stronger than ever.
Oh no. This is not inspiring me with confidence. Are they really trying to finish this up before the end of the season?
