The premise of this series is the villainess time looping seven times. In six of them, the prince of her kingdom breaks up the engagement with her, she lives for a few years doing some trade (merchant, soldier, herbalist, maid…), and then she dies as consequences of a war caused by a foreign emperor. And in the seventh loop, the same emperor asks her hand in marriage.

A few key points of the second episode, and my take on them:
- The poison in the swords felt a bit like a diabolus ex machina. Even then, it was interesting to expose her ability as a herbalist to the future emperor, and it establishes the couple as good-natured people.
- I love the scene where she helps the newbie maid against the bullying of the other maids. Excited for the “oh crap!” moment that’ll hit them.
- She’s noticing that the future emperor is not so cold-hearted… yet. And the internal conflict is fairly obvious.
