That was a (surprisingly?) sweet chapter. I appreciate how eager and naive Confucius’ was about going to a con. even if he doesn’t understand the modern exchange of knowledge available there.
Yeah, when I saw that they were going to a Comiket-like event, I was prepared for a lot of humor centered around the content that is found in many doujin. That humor was there, but having him come around and being open to ideas was a good move. In a way, it became a forum in which cultural and philosophical exchange still took place as he reevaluated his preconceptions.
And then it was all undone when he went to the bathroom.
