    Wizards of the Coast, originator of all things D&D that haven’t been created by D&D’s vast and imaginative modding, fanshipping and spin-off-making communities

    Apparently looking up DnD on Wikipedia is too much work. Gary Gygax and TSR were responsible for the bulk of DnD’s concepts and success and Ed Greenwood created the Forgotten Realms 23 years before WotC was founded

    honestly, the lack of a decent modern dnd video game is strange, considering warhammer is pooping out games left and right. Larian’s prob the best fit for the franchise

      The (main) setting(s) isn’t great and the mechanics are worse, so i wouldn’t say it’s all that surprising. I’m more surprised at the lack of games for much better ttrpgs
