Dangers in My Heart continues dominating the chart, but Solo Leveling making its way up into #2 this week. Lots of shows in their second cour in the chart this week (Frieren, Apothecary, Undead Unluck, and Ragna Crimson).

I’m surprised to see Dungeon Meshi drop off the list entirely. I wonder if once it enters its second cour, it’ll gain some more attention. It’s not an understatement to say that the first half of the story is setup and wordlbuilding for the real stuff.

Netflix could be a reason. I don’t even remember discussion about JoJo part 6. The only netflix show I’ve seen active discussion about in the past few years is Baki and I’ve been actively searching for it

That’s true. They used to drop their anime full seasons at a time, so people would binge them, and hence no online discourse would occur.

I think netflix just never attracted our type of viewer… And now people don’t even know Netflix switched to dropping episodes weekly. !dungeonmeshi@ani.social is doing well though, despite the low sub count.

I loved the Solo Leveling manhwa but I get the impression I’m gonna need to wait for the full season of the anime to be complete before I watch it. The first episode barely scratched the itch.

AC can be extremely variable week to week and season to season. The fact that Dangers in My Heart has stayed at #1 for so long is pretty unusual. Though, I think Bravern isn’t AC’s typical genre. I haven’t gotten a chance to watch it yet, but am hoping to catch up on a couple episodes this weekend. I have been listening to the OP and ED on repeat though. They are both great, even the full length versions.
