    The quest is finished. IMO the timing is quite unfortunate, it occurred on the night of a large update. Players who heard the announcement might thought the three were just lucky to be the first to encounter new content and clear it, when it had nothing to do with the update and was accomplished through meticulous planning and preparation.

    With Wethermon put to rest, no one else would know how strong he was. It would probably be unthinkable IRL for an MMO to make content that can only be enjoyed by a single party, but that might be part of Shangri-la Frontier’s Kamige appeal. I wonder if it has something else prepared (e.g. some kind of Shadow of Wethermon monster) for other players.

    Curiously Rei was only worried about Pencilgon. Does she know Oikatzo’s player is male?

      It’s kind of obvious by the way that he speaks, calling Sunraku “omae” and stuff like this, he talks like a man even if he got a girl as avatar. Psyger-0 kind of avoids outing her RL gender by speaking only the bare minimum (also because she’s rather shy), but it seems that Pencilgon knows that she’s a woman because she called her Psyger-chan.

    And finally, Wethermon and Setsuna are put to rest. Props for the studio behind the anime - it’s really hard to make a fight spanning across multiple episodes to be this exciting, and yet they did it.

    …goddammit they had to announce it for the whole world, didn’t they? Might as well tell Asura Kai “PENCILGON BETRAYED YOU TO FIGHT THE UNIQUE MONSTER!”

    My prediction next episode: Psyger-0 will wipe out Katzo and Sanraku with that badass attack and will get PK status, also will get into depression due to killing her crush

    Really nice end of the fight. We didn’t get a lot of world building exposure.

    When copy of setsuna told pencilgon thay she isn’t speaking as setsuna I got the vibe that game itself spoke to her.
