This anime is my 2nd dark horse of the season (the other being Villainess Level 99).
This episode alone raised to 9/10, with potential to be a 10/10 depending on the ending. More romance anime (and IRL too, I guess) couples should learn to communicate openly like them.
Perhaps it is because I don’t watch a sufficient number of romance animes, but to date I can count on one hand anime couples who are like this in terms of communication (before Cherry Magic):

The 100 girlfriends who really, really, really, really, REALLY love you
Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (late stage)
Kaguya-sama: Love is War (late stage)
The Dangers in my Heart (partially)
To think that I was so close to dropping Cherry Magic early on…

Oh yeah Villainess Level 99 is my favourite of this season for sure.
