ngl I’m very excited for the spice and wolf reboot. It’s probably going to have a hard time living up to the original but still wanna see how it does (and if they adapt more content from the LNs)
Why are they rebooting it?
Why does any studio ever reboot anything? Guaranteed audience. Less risk than putting out something new. At the same time, the original aired so long ago that they can’t really continue on from it without potentially confusing new viewers (or at least, I think that’s their logic).
There’s also another book in between the original 2nd season’s arcs that wasn’t adapated and has some pretty important stuff in there IIRC if they do want to go further than where the original ended.
