Lycoris Recoil originally aired during the Summer 2022 season. There has been a new LycoReco anime announced to be in production and a teaser video, but no date announced yet. Synopsis of the first season from AniList:

“LycoReco” is a café with a traditional Japanese twist located in downtown Tokyo. But the delicious coffee and sugary sweets are not the only orders this café takes! From delivering packages short distances, to pick-ups and drop-offs on the lonely streets at night, to zombies and giant monster extermination…?! Whatever your problem, we’re here to help! We will solve any kind of “trouble” you may have!

Waiting for you are the ever-smiling poster-girl and the cool, serious newcomer. A petite girl who never wants to work and a young woman approaching thirty who wants to get married. And the manager is a nice guy who’s obsessed with Japan!

    I wouldn’t normally post a visual for a show that has completed airing, but since Anime Japan wrapped up, there has been a dearth of anime news these past couple days. If you haven’t seen LycoReco before, I highly recommend it. Imagine John Wick, but with anime girls.

      I didn’t realize it was getting a second season, kinda stoked to learn that. First season was quite fun.

        Yeah, it’s nothing like John Wick, unless John Wick just stands for someone shoots guns, which is hardly specific.

        I’d say a more proper comparison would be a brighter Gunslinger Girls.

      Yep, the announcement isn’t new, I just included it for people that might not have been aware. A season of anime typically takes a couple years from start to finish, so we are all just going to have to wait in the meantime.
