What a great episode! I love the indirect [and unknowing!] display of power that Rimuru does through Diablo. And the options that Diablo offered to the kingdom are smart - it gives them a false belief that they have choices.
And Shion being cute and all proud of her job. Damn that cooking skill :3
Looking forward to the rest of the season too! Think I’m gonna have to go back and re watch the earlier episodes to get back into the storyline again.

Good to see slime isekai back. Lots of political play this episode. Exited to see where it goes.
Believe it or not, I’ve never watched an episode of this before.
Seems pretty similar to Overlord at this point: Powerful but clueless MC in a “monsters take over fantasy kingdoms” except Rimuru isn’t quite as bloodthirsty as Ainz Ooal Gown.

Basically, except earlier seasons of slime tended to focus on how they would build a functioning nation, and from what I saw of overlord it was much more power fantasy. The end of last season of slime lost that vibe, I’m hoping it comes back.
