Alright, Tao is here! I guess we also got Lloyd’s older brother as well, but did I mention Tao is here? She is a lot of fun and from what I remember of the manga, one of the characters I enjoyed the most. How can you not fall for how strong she is?

The series continues to deliver fan service in its own special way, including the MC. The effort that went into animating Tao’s character is clear

Finally, the main thing that I think this series will need to deliver on in order to keep people watching is the magic visuals. This episode was respectable in that regard. The compound spell that he used to punch a hole in the sky was animated very nicely (even if the camera was so shaky I couldn’t get a nice shot of it). Also, the ki effects that Tao used were really nice as well and felt like an obvious reference to a Dragonball inspiration. Lloyd’s magic might be a bit too much for Grim yet at this point.
