His body language while running is deliberately strange looking.
Meanwhile everyone around them is nasty, even the pet bird that his boss orders him to adopt flies straight to his crotch to attack him.
But the nastiness is all played for laughs.
Akira’s the super-deadly assassin, and this situation is just his thing.
