When he started selling those items in the market, they quickly became popular and sold for a good price. He could have continued to grow his store, but Kenichi’s goal is to live a slow life. He is happy living self-sufficiently on the outskirts of town, but one after another, trouble arises.

I just don’t understand the appeal of all these portal fantasies with super specific scenarios. Is the genre doing well?
For some reason people have just decided isekai shouldn’t have any standards what so ever (which pisses me off, since i love the basic concept), naturally it follows that the only thing the ‘artists’ behind these projects need to care about is having an eye catching hook no matter how stupid.
