Yeah, with Masachika never really responding to it, and the fact he knows Russian remaining a forever-secret, what is the point really? I think this episode is really only the first time that he made use of information that he got from Alya in Russian by suggesting the names. Overall though, it hasn’t really been that different than just having an internal dialog.
