Thank you everybody for participating in the awards process! NineSwords and I simply wanted this to be a fun thing to wrap up the year with, and I hope that you all had fun with this. We certainly learned a lot about ways we might want to run things differently if we ever do this again, so thank you for all the feedback you have given us through this process.
If you are interested in analyzing the vote data, I have created a github repo here where I have uploaded both the voting data and the code I used to process the data and calculate the election results. Feel free to use this data in any way you see fit!

Biggest surprises for me in these results was Nagatoro taking Best Duo as well as Best Romance. I think it goes to show the effect that having a good ending to a series really helps shape the lasting perception people have. Also interesting that the Best Duo runner-up was also from a series that concluded this year.
Feels like a pretty good choice honestly. They had a fun dynamic and nice chemistry, plus there was a decent amount of character development of both MCsthroughout the series. Granted, I wasn’t familiar with most of the competitors in this category so I can’t say if this is “earned” or not - still, it’s not the worst possible result.
I was ready to throw hands and call a scam but some of the series I’m familiar with managed to nab an award so this was a totally legitimate event. Yeah! (¬‿¬)
