    It looks like they won the scoring round but lost the run off round.

    I don’t know about STAR Scoring to know what’s happened. But just know they were the people favourite but the goddesses changed the results.

      Here’s what happened. Fortunately, there are few enough ballots that we can look at it pretty easily. There are two steps to STAR voting. First is the scoring and then the runoff. Here are the ballots for the category (I narrowed it down to just those two candidates, the full list of ballots is here):

      Scoring Round

      This simply totals up the points earned for each candidate to select the top two scorers to move on to the runoff. Looking at the ballots above, Fran & Teacher win this round.

      • Total points for Fran & Teacher: 17
      • Total points for Karion & Urion: 15

      Runoff Round

      This round looks at all the ballots and counts the number of ballots that prefer one of the two runoff contestants over the other. So, let’s look again at our ballots and see which one each prefers:

      5 4 Karion & Urion
