So, the thing that Makoto was surprised about at the end of last episode is that it was really hot outside in the demiplane. With the whole crew back together again, it’s time to take care of administrative work. This is a Japanese story after all, it needs a healthy dose of bureaucracy. It was nice to see Mio’s cooking effort pay off though. She was able to make some tasty food. That is a huge step up from where she started.

Interviewing the candidate species goes pretty good. Two out of three ain’t bad according to the eternal words of Meatloaf. In the source, I never really understood Emma’s resistance to the fairies (I am just going to call them fairies). She just really hates them, and always will really hate them. Makoto seems a bit flustered by the Gorgons. I debated making this the lead image for this episode:

Looks like next episode is going to have a Rotsgard focus. We are going to be introduced (again) to the Rembrandt sisters. Last time we saw them, there were super curse-ified and we had to hold them down while we administered medicine to cure them. Now, it looks like they have hair again. So, that is an improvement for them in a beauty-obsessed world.

0/10 meal, did not include ores or mana-infused tools. Why are humans so picky? /s

The Rembrandt sisters spell trouble. It’s kind of funny that people think that they’ll treat Makoto with disdain, without knowing that he’s their saviour.

The whiplash other students will get between the expected behaviour of the sisters and their actual behaviour is going to be gold.
