Sorry for being a day late on this. I am running a bit behind due to work stuff. But this episode was insane. I loved Operation Bonfire. From the way Isami and Bravern were flirting to how they eventually just confessed to each other, only to be interrupted by Lulu. Then it transitioned to a Food Wars style cooking and eating sequence. I half expected Superbia’s armor plating to be blasted off with flavor.

The fight with Segnities was hilarious. My man was just a chuuni striking cool poses and completely intimidated both Bravern and Superbia. Unfortunately for him, Superbia called his bluff. Fortunately for him, he got to witness the cool shit that went down in the Bravern X Superbia bromance battle. That whole battle went way harder than it needed to. Simply superb.

Finally, Bravern died to a surprise attack by Ira. It was a touching moment to have Smith instead of Bravern speaking the final lines to Isami. However, I instantly cracked up again when Bravern had the visor come down over his face to represent his death. Like, that is seriously the best usage of the last bit of energy you have in your robot life.

I have no idea where we are going from here. Only one episode left, so I hope they can land this thing. This has been an absolute gem of a show.
