    Pshew… I’m not sure what to make of this one.

    The art’s gorgeous, and it seems intriguing, but even with all of the exposition in the first chapter, I still couldn’t sort out who was who and quite what the context is.

    Should I reread the first chapter? Did I miss something? Or is it really that opaque, and I have to just forge ahead to get more puzzle pieces?

    Edit - just noticed that it’s an adaptation, so I’m going to jump straight to the source, then maybe come back to the manga.

      I personally love it, and wish an official translation of the (very short) novel would come out.

      Still, I am happy that I had someone else interested into it. ☺️

        I just read the first two chapters of an unofficial and only so-so translation of the novel, and that filled in a lot of the details. There are still some things I’m not sure of, but it’s an intriguing set-up.

        Edit: up to chapter 6 now in the manga, and this is terrific.

        I love the balance - the way that first Emi got her chance to save Remilia, and was perfectly equipped for it right up until the point that the Star Maiden appeared, and then Remilia got her chance to save Emi, and is perfectly equipped for it.

        On to the next chapter…

        Edit again: completely caught up now, and this is excellent. Thanks for sharing, and I’m looking forward to more.
