That was a clean ending, most loose ends tied up (Ivy’s starless status and Ciel’s existence being made known being made known to trusted people, as well as Sora’s origins), but with just enough leeway for another season.

I am not sure how far the source material has gone and whether or not it is enough for another season or two, but I fear they made the ending this way because they aren’t sure there might be another season after all.

Well, that’s it. The Organisation was crushed, Ivy got a huge reward that amounts to a bazillion field mice, and she went back to travel with Sora and Ciel.

At least she could tell the people around her the truth of being a starless tamer. And now her travels take a different goal - instead of running away, she’s looking for new stuff.

I don’t expect a new season for this series, but it was an enjoyable ride.

It was a very good anime. Hope the story continues at least in the Manga, i don’t expect a season 2 in the foreseeable future.

Its one of the better Anime this season, sadly underrated but due to the extremely heavy Competition It was expected to be underrated.

For the first full Anime of that studio it was very good, although they have some small differences to the source, the story got adapted pretty well. The animation was good and the Voices were chosen fittingly in both languages (Japanese and German) i watched it with.

Over all i rate it 85/100

For anyone interested, the episodes Aired with German dub the same day as the Japanese one came out.

100% agree - this season got lots of good stuff like Frieren, Shangri-La Frontier, Lv99 Last Boss, Dungeon Meshi, etc. Saijaku Tamer was good, but competing with bigger stuff.

One thing that I really enjoyed is that they avoided that “it’s the weakest, but actually…” trope. It isn’t a bad trope, but a bit overused already.
