I see, all this to free the souls of the dead. Important sure, but it feels a bit… anticlimactic and random. This could’ve used a lot more build up and world building than it got. Especially for something that felt like it was an end battle type of thing. Like, why is it only since 2 episodes that we could’ve thought what her goal might’ve been? There wasn’t much, if any, foreshadowing towards her goal or why it’s important. The whole Cusculi thing is still vague and two of them siding with her while the rest is in shock is also weird. I don’t get why they’d believe she’d side with the one who betrayed her and then be surprised why she ‘betrays’ them. We also don’t really know the two who helped her, so it feels weird when they side with her because all we know about Cusculi is that they want to kill non mages. We weren’t really shown any cruelty towards mages either, even though a lot seemed to hinge on that fact. Also, why did the other countries want Tinasha dead afterwards? They know she didn’t actually wipe out the villages right? What reason would there still be?

Did I miss something? Did the anime skip something? What’s going on?
