It looks like they’re re-setting, and starting the tension in the storyline in this new season over from scratch.
Yes, there’s some loose ends from last season, like Sunagawa poking around for information on the Fable organization, pervert co-worker still wants his Misaki videos, but we’ll have to wait to see how those play out.
