wait, what? what?! A new Patlabor movie?! Made by someone who worked as a mecha designer on Gundam, Cowboy Beebop, Escaflowne, Full metal Panic and Evangelion ?! Sounds like someone who know a things or two on mecha animation. Count me in! 😍

I couldn’t really make heads or tails of if this project is a sequel, a remake, a spinoff, or what. So, if anybody has additional information for this project that was announced all the way back in 2017, then I will gladly update the post.

The poster threw me for a loop. It’s a throwback to the 1989 film.

Watch the OVA series and the TV series, they are excellent stories about wonderful characters with great animation.

Will do, just need to wait until I’m in a watching head space first (I’m having a bit of a hard time sitting down to watch anything at the moment). Thanks for recommendation though!

This was me in the early pandemic. I was basically confined to my small apartment and didn’t want to watch anything. So, I played a lot more games in that period. The other thing that I found I was much more able to tolerate was non-fiction. I ended up watching a lot of documentaries in that period.

For me it’s pretty much a cyclical thing. It happens regardless of circumstances so I just have to wait it out - I usually stick with manga & games until it swaps again.
