Haven’t watched the video, but honestly, the most surprising part of that quote for me is that he seems to have correctly used the word “amorphous”
Except it sounds like he’s talking about energy—as in power for equipment like a stove. Energy isn’t amorphous at all. There’s pretty clear types, sources and distribution methods.
Either he’s misusing “amorphous” or he doesn’t understand energy.
Eitherhe’s misusing “amorphous”orand he doesn’t understand energy. He likely meant “ubiquitous”. Then again, with the wavy hands…
For those that know, is it normal for dementia-like diseases to drop cognition this fast? Is exhaustion exacerbating it?
My grandma crashed really hard, really quickly after her husband died. I don’t know if it’s the norm, but it can happen.
Nails amorphous, gets the concept of stove wrong.
He just saw the Matrix. He meant to say “a Morpheus”.
I love how uncomfortable the fan is. Never meet your heroes, eh fucknut?
“Fan,” isn’t that the guy that got arrested in the Carolinas for being and armed militia and targeting FEMA workers? Or did that guys mug shot just happen to look just like this guy
I am not familiar with this specimen
Now he smells and hears the shit. Maybe he will think”hmm maybe they’re right”. We can only hope.
Never happen. Best case scenario is “maybe I’m not into politics anymore”
I’d take the w.
He just wanted to steal glances at hot lady. They don’t usually let him get that close
The “hot lady” is Sage Steele acting as moderator.
Trump kept calling her Paige. She chose to ignore those multiple mistakes.
You just love to see it. While asked about cognitive decline, Trump responded with these gem quotes such as “I’ve got no cognitive.” As well as stating he “aced two cognitive tests, no one’s ever done that before.”
Sage Steele from ESPN? She’s MAGA? What in the world
Yep. She’s one of them. I’m still baffled that any woman would willingly be MAGA. Goes to show how powerful propaganda, manipulation, hate, and fear are. Repubs did a fantastic job fortifying their control over decades, installing a dictator, and sowing doubt and distrust with current election practices. Trump is one of many threats.
Edit: Blows my mind, really. She’s youngish (40s or so, I’m not willing to Google her), black, articulate, educated, and a woman. Just makes zero sense why she would be MAGA when that party wants to suppress her. Literally so confused, but yep she’s deeply MAGA. Why would a woman, a black woman, support the racist group that wants to enslave or kill her? Leopards will definitely eat her face.
There are many MAGA grifters with similarly confusingly contradictory identity going back to the start and the reality is that they’re there because capital interest outweighs all else.
MAGA grifts seem incredibly lucrative, especially if you’re the sort of Milo Yionopolis, Clarence Thomas, Candace Owens, Ben Shapiro ass, member of a group they’re not too fond off. I’m pretty sure MAGA grifts are the most lucrative social grift currently, it’s free money and the discourse drives the engagement so its a self feeding loop for an influencer or content creator, its self perpetuating in other ways too so if you start its not easy to stop.
They also don’t care that they’re helping to do the things that they do because they believe the leopards won’t eat her face in the end because she was one of the good ones. Ofcourse bigots rarely make distinctions when riled up in to a frenzy, so they definitely could and likely will get facey eaten. But assuming she is actually getting paid, she will become ever more privileged in their new society than she would be in their new society without that money. But also, if she’s been privileged with wealth long enough she could align with wealth interests solely, and ignore (bewilderingly) all the other policys of MAGA.
Yesterday I read a thread on that bird site from a guy adressed at black communities, writing about Lee Atwater and the “Southern Strategy” which I never heard of. That guy basically wanted to reinstate segregation but more hidden, was an adviser to Reagan and wanted to help him into office by evoking the latent racist tendencies of moderate reps in a way they could still feel good about themselves. OP posted pictures of Atwater with a young Roger Stone and a young Trump and drew parallels to today. He warned all POC that the same thing will happen again. I hope that it was only a preventive measure and that in reality black people voting Trump are a tiny minority when they got a non-white, non-racist person right there running for office.
I love how the guy hears this insanity, immediately looks down at the ground, like “uh oh” and then over at the woman like “you heard that too, right?”
I laughed out loud at his reaction
“Wait… is this guy an idiot??”
And she just looks back going
it is like a stove, yes 🙂
What is he talking about again ?
He’s talking about how energy is a stove, if you make donuts.
it’s not a truck?
Maybe if you don’t make donuts.
Energy is a truck if you transport donuts?!?
My love for you is like a truck berserker
Aww, shucks. I sorta feel drawn to you, like magnetically.
Fuck Your Yankee Blue Jeans
It’d have to be a big and amorphous one, though.
That’d be tacos
It’s a series of tubes.
Let’s go to the list, maybe it’s a person? woman? man? camera? tv?
No, none of those? Oh well, here’s 40 minutes of awkward swaying to a bunch of random music that we have ready to play for some reason.
A dump truck specifically, one that you can drive a tube through.
Where are the science memes people when you need them
Picture of a stove?
I don’t know if he even knows for sure
He is trying to say that we use energy (presumably he is talking specifically about fossil fuels) for everything and in ways that people may not even realize it. He is saying that without fossil fuels society can’t function.
Quite a thorough job of sane-washing here
As someone who has always been around people speaking broken English, it becomes very easy to interpret word jumbles and mistranslations.
It’s exhausting but if you examine what he says you’ll find there is some sense to his ramblings. It’s how he blurts them without any context that gives away his dementia
Arnold Palmer
He’s talking about how energy is required for pretty much everything, like if you were going to make donuts (on a stove for some reason) it would take energy, it took energy for them to get to your home, etc. I always hated things like this, like this is one of the most coherent things he’s said, it’s like the boy who cried wolf, when it’s actually noteworthy we’re already tired of hearing it.
Take a second to remind yourself that if “this is one of the most coherent thing’s he’s said,” how far the bar has been lowered for him and this behavior.
“It’s not fair to pick on him for this, he completed a full sentence!” Oh, well whoopity-fucking-doo for him.
You’re doing what the media and his followers do, though. You’re interpreting for him.
There may be a coherent idea behind what he says but his ability to express it is severely deficient which is further evidence that he is unfit for the presidency.
I completely agree that he’s unfit for the presidency, I just didn’t think it was that bad of a sentence.
“Energy is required for all work” is not really a noteworthy statement.
If he managed to say it as coherently as I just did, it might be noteworthy, except for the fact that it would be inevitably followed by an incessant stream of gibberish.
So you have a problem with the sentence itself and not that it was spoken by Trump?
Actually, I have a problem with both.
It’s a completely unnecessary statement for anyone with an elementary school level understanding of the world. However, if a candidate for president of the United States is going to make such an inane statement, he should at least speak coherently.
Work requires energy. That’s easy to say, and easy to understand.
Trump talks like a six year old trying to explain to his parents what he learned in school today.
Who the fuck makes donuts on a stove in a business context or any context really.
Why would a bakery use a stove instead of a commercial fryer? why would a single person make a donut from scratch with frosting for a single fucking donut at home instead of going to a shop to just buy one for a dollar?
It’s a terrible sentence, it makes no sense whatsoever in any context.
It’s just standard trump word vomit.
That’s the complete opposite of what NABDad said. “If he managed to say it as coherently as I just did,” implies a belief that the sentence is at the very least marginally incoherent. Which further implies that they do actually have a problem with the sentence itself.
Is your suggestion to the contrary a mistake made because you were overinvested in the point you’re trying to argue, or was it purposeful misinterpretation?
Agree. People in this thread pretending they don’t understand what he’s saying…that’s just bad faith criticism that they’re angry enough to excuse in themselves right now. Resist that shit.
Given just the added context of his tone of speech in the audio, his meaning became immediately clear. If we had two or three sentences of additional context on either side of this quote, my guess is the text would have been just as easily understandable as the video was.
His staffers should be charged with elder abuse for making these rallies continue
Let em cook
Weird
Weird weirdo is weird.
hahhaha guys face “what the fuck is he going on about”
“I’ve made a huge mistake”
He almost sounds like he’s going to start talking about auras and spiritual healing, but it quickly turns into getting a donut delivery
He’s manifesting donuts.
I’m impressed, to be honest, “amorphous” is probably the biggest word I’ve ever heard him use.
Mr. Finite Battery Heart aficionado at his best. Ugh.
It’s like he he’s Bruce Lee, but really he just wants a donut.
With Obama care he’d have his 24/7 day care for free already.
Yeah, but so would other people he doesn’t like. Better we all suffer, but at least someone else suffers more.
Orange man with swiss cheese brain.
78 yrs old and the same IQ
Is he on mushrooms?
This is the classic dementia “word salad”. I can sort of understand and follow the thread of what he was trying to say but to most observers it’s going to be a series of intelligible words that add up to have no meaning.
To be fair, that pretty much describes the information communicated to any Trump supporter listening to anyone say anything. They listen for vibes, not meaning.
