The puppetmaster finally took off his mask, but then we didn’t even see his face.
Pretty sure the voice was a giveaway here. It sounded a fair bit like Roy Junghart, but that might also be because I already thought the Puppetmaster was him.
I mean, what was accomplished this episode?
Wasn’t it revealed at the end that Noir is Gene’s dad? Or did I completely misunderstand?
Either way, yeah. Nothing was really accomplished.

Yeah, Dr. Junghart is really the only one that makes sense. I think it would also be one of the few people that the detective would know at a glance like that since he was investigating Jungahart’s “muder” after all.
