Let’s give Lime a shout out this episode, ever since being taken under Tomoe’s wing (and undergoing a certain ritual) he is becoming quite an admirable character. I’m looking forward to seeing him continue to grow.

I’m curious how Makoto’s relationship with Rembrandt will change as his business becomes more prominent. That was a lot of gold for a single day, bro is making bank. The demiplane has to be funded somehow, he’s definitely found the best way to provide it.

Poor Aqua and Eris, having to work overtime. They might get bananas as compensation, but I always say to never get paid in anything perishable. The investments you make with your wages never mature into anything worthwhile.

We get to see Makoto-sensei this episode and the students get to meet one of Tomoe’s kin. In the WN, I remember that this lizard had a name, but I don’t remember it. Not many characters from the demiplane get to be named characters that recur somewhat regularly, so it was a bit of a downgrade for this lizard to lose their name (maybe they get it in a future episode though). Rest assured that this lizard will live forever in the minds of these students.

We also got to see the Rembrandt sisters again this episode. It’s been a while, but they look a lot better now than when we saw them in season 1. It’s nice to see them in anime form. Yuno in particular is one of my favorite characters from the WN, so it’s good to see them getting along with the rest of the class (even if their behavior is breaking their classmate’s brains a bit). Finally, I loved the evening-gown casual look they served Makoto and Shiki near the end of the episode:

If you don’t remember the demon Rona, we actually saw her in an earlier episode this season. She was the other demon general that Io talked to before he went down to the battlefield to beat up some heroes and kill Navale. Rona is also the character that set off the giant pit trap if I remember correctly. Her specialty, if you couldn’t pick up on it from Shiki’s dialogue about her, is in intelligence gathering and analysis. I am sure it was quite frustrating for her to have her cover blown pretty much immediately as well as have this random teacher’s assistant seemingly be much better informed about her than she is about Kuzunoha. Also, horns are a bit of a touchy subject with her it seems.

Finally, the episode ends a bit dramatically. There seems to be some darkness hidden in the academy in Rotsgard and Lime just stumbled upon it. I am super looking forward to next episode and meeting another one of my favorite characters from the series.
